Recently, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China (AQSIQ) approved the issuance of the “National Standard for Optical Radiation Safety Testing Methods for Semiconductor Lighting Equipment and Systems”. The standard is based on the light environment constructed by lighting equipment and systems, and it is aimed at the actual use of lighting environment. In this case, the safety classification, measurement and evaluation methods of the light radiation in the field lighting environment are proposed.
With the rapid development of LED technology, it has been widely used in general lighting and display fields. However, due to the inconsistency and disharmony of human biological characteristics, such as the harm of blue light, modern lighting sources such as LED pose a new threat to human health. The visual health of lighting products has gradually become the focus of current people’s attention.
The introduction of this standard provides a design basis for the design of the lighting environment, provides a test basis for the on-site measurement and evaluation of the light radiation safety of the lighting environment, provides data basis for the acceptance and rectification of the lighting project, and uses the lighting safely for the user. The light environment provides security.
